Tenno Sushi Lounge in Heilbronn

Very delicious food and friendly service. I would say these were the best sushi I had in Heilbronn and for sure I will order at Tenno next time.

We gave Tenno a chance after some friends recommended the sushi to us. Unfortunately price was not in relation to taste / quality. The best part of our order was the edamame. A little extra salt on top and good. The rolls were overloaded with sauce and the rice or fish were overwhelmed by their taste. The Nigiris are actually better in the Edeka at the Asia counter. The food is not bad and not good. Therefore three stars.

The take away sushi is gorgeous as always! The quality has simply been at a great level since the opening and it's perfect even in lockdown. We are looking forward to the new store!

From our point of view, a detour is highly recommended. Here you get both: friendly and fast waiters. The tables from the restaurant were excellently cleaned and the seating was extremely comfortable. Try this great cooking room, the menu is usually for everyone what there.

Were recently eating there with a table reservation. When we arrived on site, we were informed that all tables were occupied, which is why we were asked to go to the Swabian hotel restaurant right next to it, where we were given our "reserved" table. Didn't like that we had to eat sushi in a rather unsuitable setting as you actually pay for the experience as well. The food was still tasty and the service friendly.

Best sushi I've ever had. You have to budget a little more money, of course, but you also get excellent quality. I think two people get around 90-100 euros including a starter and a drink. But you also have large portions and top quality!

The food is always delicious and of high quality. The star deduction is an incentive for the Tenno to serve the guest with a little more serenity and calm, so that the stress level of the employees does not pass over to the guest. Unfortunately, we have made this experience with each of our numerous visits, including appointments from 6 p.m. when it is only just beginning to fill up with guests.

As many have mentioned, and I fully agree with that, the best sushi around. + The Crispy Tiger Roll was a dream. + The Fitness Roll was very refreshing and ideal in the warm weather. + Misowan was quite good + Gyoza was great in combination with the sesame sauce. -I was only disappointed with the Wagyu Beef. The meat was quite tough, which only happens if you cut it wrong. Shame about the meat and the 10 € Otherwise there is nothing to complain about You just have to try it.

Dear owner of the Tenno Lounge, we have chosen your recommended 5-course menu. € 69 per head. The first 3 courses top! Great fresh produce. Unfortunately, the last 2 courses were no longer convincing. Sometimes less is more. I understand the trend of toopings, but you also lose the great taste of the actual product. I can imagine that many people like it. For us, who like it traditional, it was unfortunately not quite as tasty as we had hoped. But we wanted to be surprised with this menu ..... then choose it yourself. The service served us quickly, I can't share the criticism that you had to wait a long time for food, it was super fast and that on a Saturday! Here and there the service could often ask whether everything is ok and maybe you want something to drink. If I had been able to set the price myself, the food would have been worth € 54 per head. 69 € for the station wagon but a lot of money. So the bottom line: LESS IS SOMETIMES MORE! So you don't cover up the great basic products!

The quality of the sushi is excellent, the restaurant appealing. Small deduction, because the service was not particularly attentive and we always tried the same sauce on the dish when trying out the menu. That bores the palate a bit.

Interesting experience. A bit pricey ( bring 40-50E for 2 types of sushi+ 1-2 drinks). Excellent service. Really nice location. Plastic/fake leather couches - may be uncomfortable if there for a long stay. Take the chairs :)

The food was actually good and the staff was friendly, but we had to wait for one hour until we got our food after ordering. !!!THE REASON!!! why I rate this restaurant 1 star is that the manager of Insel hotel (as the restaurant is part of the hotel) was absolutely unfriendly and outrageous!! We had 8 people at the table and only 3 of us ordered drinks because not everyone was thirsty. What happened was she came to us with a despising look and told us what a shame it is that not everyone of us has ordered one drink. Even though we explained that not every single one of us was thirsty, she answered us that our behavior was incorrect!! How humiliating it was!! I mean...since when has ordering a drink become a rule to follow when dining at a restaurant? What she did to us was totally unacceptable!! Not to mention, we did order food for everyone. So it’s not like we were occupying the space without spending any penny. I feel totally sorry for this restaurant to have such a manager. It’s definitely better off without her!

In terms of quality and taste, sushi at the Tenno Sushi Lounge is the best in Heilbronn and the surrounding area. No question. But what must be clear is that the whole thing has its price. So there are a good 8 inside-out roles for a price, for the QQ Sushi around the corner (also great sushi) gets a full menu - and something to drink. The atmosphere is okay, but not very atmospheric and not very suitable for sushi. But if the location, the locality is in the morning of a hotel used as a breakfast room. Outside, on the other hand, you can sit quite well, everything is well done, but there is a busy street right there. You can also order sushi to take away, works well if you preorder. The waiting times can be quite long otherwise.
